For over 20 years Cederberg Oasis has been the home away from home for so many people who just want to get away from busy city life. Situated in the heart of the Cederberg Mountains along a dusty road it is truly an off the beaten path destination.

With that said keep in mind this is not the Ritz, this is a "back to basics" getaway with the most amazing vibe you will ever find. Best described as visiting family or long lost friends even if you've never been there before.

"My Oasis in the Cederberg. Some rooms but mainly fixed tents and wooden huts under the mountains and the stars. Rustic, but food for the soul. Speaking of food, a simple menu but well done and hits the spot. Pool is a blessing in the summer and is kept under shade cloth so very refreshing! Great base to explore the wonderful sites and surrounds of the Cederberg. Shared ablutions. The way the setting sun highlights the rock formations and different sediment layers in the mountains is stunning. My kids and I love it."

"I have so much to say about this place.
First.of. It's such a rad, relaxed epic spot. The guys that run the place are chilled. the vibe is chilled. just an all round great setting.
Prices are cheap compared to what you get.
And the truitjies kraal caves nearby is absolutely incredible. words cannot describe how gorgeous it is there.
All round it comes highly recommended. Pull in if you are in the area. you wont he disappointed."

"love the outdoors and clear skies, this is the place, Ive stayed here 3 times , we rode there on our dual sport bikes , the accommodation is clean and tidy, bathrooms facilities are very good, it can be classed as a back packers however lots of single accommodation, we normally stay in the outside accommodation where we can park our bikes next to our huts. The food is reasonably priced and well known for its chicken schnitzel ......... there are lots of hiking trails, rivers a proper place to chill. I found a cave with charcoal writing and dates very humbling."

And the perfect place to set up as base camp for a few days' of out and back adventure rides. Relaxed, friendly owners and staff. Comfortable accommodation in the permanent tents."

"I have been visiting Cederberg Oasis for the last 10 years. The owners Gerrit & Chantal always welcome you with open arms. The food is excellent, especially the pork spare ribs that everyone rates 10 out of 10. Highly recommended venue.
Accommodation is mostly canvas tents with 2 single beds, clean linen, and bedding provided."
